SEWABSNL CHQ had submitted a strong representation to the Hon’ble Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on the Welfare of SCs and STs on 10-06-2022 about Promotion in all cadres by implementing DoPT guidelines dtd 12-04-2022, Filling up of Backlog vacancies, Violation of DPC rules in Promotion from AO to CAO during the year 2018, Holding of regular DPC for all the vacant post of CAO, DGM regular promotion to those working as DGM Adhoc, Promotion from SDE to DE/AGM, Restoration of Seniority of affected SC/ST Executives and other important concurrent issues of SEWA.
Based on this, on 02-09-2022, Hon’ble Parliamentary Committee had directed DoT/BSNL to examine the contents given by GS SEWA in the letter dtd 10-06-2022 and furnish their comments to the Lok Sabha Secretariat for placing before the Hon’ble Chairman.
Now, for the queries raised by GS SEWA, SCT Cell of BSNL corporate office is furnished reply/parawise comments to the Hon’ble Parliamentary Committee. In the letter, BSNL Corporate management has detailed about the prevailing stalemate in effecting promotions with reservation and all other legitimate rights.
These key issues will be discussed in depth in the forthcoming Governing Body Members Meeting of SEWABSNL CHQ for further proceedings by SEWA.
