BSNL CO ND issued Minutes of Meeting of Director HR with SEWA BSNL,AIGETOA and SNEA ON 12-05-2022



Dear Brothers, Leaders, Office Bearers of all level and Loyal Members of SEWA BSNL,

As per the letter dated 09-05-2022, today on 12-05-2022, BSNL Management under the Leadership of Respected Director (HR) Shri Arvind Vadnerkar conducted a significant decisive meeting with SEWA and other two Executive Associations AIGETOA & SNEA for formulating procedures to be followed prior to effecting Reservation in Promotions, pursuant to the Judgement of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 28-01-2022 and subsequently issued DOP&T OM dated 12.04.2022 .

PGM(Pers), PGM(SR), CLO(SCT) , DGM Pers Legal, DGM Estt, DGM SR and other Officers from Pers, SR and SCT are also attended. Along with AIGETOA and SNEA representatives, from SEWA, myself as GS, Shri R A Meena DGM & NVP-1, and Shri Mukesh Sr AO & CS BSNL CO attended and represented all the issues in detail on Roster & Own Merit related to the Promotions of all cadres.

Today meeting was a great one. We received very positive and fruitful response from BSNL Management for initiating the Promotions in all streams with unanimous firm support of all three main decision making Associations.

It was unanimously proposed by all three Associations to follow strictly the DoPT OM dated 12.04.2022 and DoPT OM 1997 in toto for preparation of roster. It is also demanded by all three Associations to increase more number of post and for taking sincere steps to avoid future disputes. SEWA and other two Associations further emphasized for increasing more number of posts in AGM & DGM cadre. Director (HR) has given positive response in this regard as BBNL operations are being taken over by BSNL and more manpower is needed for the same.

Considering the unanimous suggestions given by SEWA, AIGETOA and SNEA ,Director (HR) assured that all necessary actions shall be taken to ensure the Promotions following the DoPT OM dated 12.04.2022 & DoPT OM of the year 1997 as early as possible.*

We are very hopeful that long pending promotions from AO to CAO, SDE to AGM (Regular), AGM to DGM ( Regular) and DGM (Adhoc) to DGM (Regular) would be cleared at the earliest.
