A meeting of General Secretaries of All Unions and Associations was Conducted in the SEWA Circle Office , Eastern Court , Janpath Today 08-01-2026 at 4-00 pm. The Meeting convened to review Today’s Lunch Hour Demonstration program and to discuss further strategy / course of action of future agitation. The discussion went on for two hours. At 6-00 pm, We, General Secretaries of all Unions and Associations met with PGM Pers/SR Sh Rajeev Kaushik who confirmed that the expected Wage Revision Committee Report will be Approved Today/ Tomorrow by Management Committee (MC) and then BSNL Board Meeting will be fixed very soon to Approve Committee Report and finally it will be sent to DoT for further process.
With regard to other issues, we will continue our talks with the appropriate authorities continuously till we reach our goal.
As per SEWA CHQ call, Lunch Hour Protest was effectively organised and largely attended by our Office Bearers and Members of SEWA BSNL of three layers across the country joining with Unions and Associations. On behalf of SEWA CHQ, I record my Sincere Thanks to One and All, very particularly Circle Presidents / Circle Secretaries of all Circles for their Co-ordination, Unity and Successful Conduction.
